Legal deserts are a significant issue in Texas, and the data clearly underscores the extent of this disparity. By analyzing data collected from various sources, we can pinpoint counties in need of assistance, determine the type of support required, and identify areas where resources may be available. In this session, we will first explore how metropolitan areas can assist in addressing legal deserts, and secondly, demonstrate how you can leverage this data, and similar datasets, to assess the needs of your community and advocate effectively for meaningful change.
